Its primary function is to expertly regulate the outlet pressure of the main valve, ensuring unwavering stability irrespective of fluctuations in inlet pressure or variations in outlet flow rate. This robust valve is perfectly engineered for a wide range of applications, including industrial water supply systems, essential fire water supply networks, and domestic water pipe infrastructures.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
As water makes its journey from the inlet end, it gracefully flows through the needle valve into the main valve, with the outlet pressure seamlessly transmitted to the pilot valve via a conduit. When the outlet pressure exceeds the meticulously set value of the pilot spring, the pilot valve engages to seal the flow. Simultaneously, the main valve ceases to drain, causing the internal pressure to rise and secure the main valve, effectively halting any further increase in the outlet pressure.
When the outlet pressure dips below the pre-set level of the pilot valve, the pilot valve unleashes its power by opening, allowing the control room to drain water downstream. As the discharged water volume from the pilot valve system surpasses the intake through the needle valve, the main valve control room experiences a pressure drop. This pressure differential empowers the main valve to open, with the system reaching equilibrium as the water intake and outlet rates stabilize, maintaining a consistent outlet pressure.
Fine-tuning the outlet pressure is effortlessly achieved by adjusting the robust pilot valve spring to meet specific requirements.
