The 200X Pressure Reducing Valve is an expertly designed assembly that includes a main valve, pilot valve, ball valve, and pressure gauge. This sophisticated valve is engineered to precisely manage the outlet pressure of the main valve, ensuring it remains unaffected by variations in inlet pressure or changes in the outlet flow rate. It is an ideal choice for maintaining consistent pressure in industrial and domestic water supply systems, as well as in fire water supply networks.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
As water enters from the inlet, it is directed through a needle valve into the main valve, with the outlet pressure seamlessly conveyed to the pilot valve via a conduit. Should the outlet pressure exceed the pilot spring's set value, the pilot valve ingeniously shuts off, halting the main valve's drainage. Consequently, pressure in the main valve increases, effectively closing it and stabilizing the outlet pressure, preventing any further rise.
When the outlet pressure falls to the pilot valve's preset level, the pilot valve opens, allowing the control room to drain downstream. Due to the pilot valve system discharging more water than the needle valve intakes, the main valve's control room pressure diminishes, enabling the main valve to open. In a stable state, the intake and outlet in the control room reach equilibrium, maintaining a consistent main valve opening and stable outlet pressure.
